Products

The TRON line is the company's legged foundational platform. TRON 2 was unveiled in December 2025 and is described by LimX as "a reusable, scalable, and continuously evolving robotic foundational platform as robotics and AI technologies advance," with a modular design, flexible APIs and a developer toolkit; the company says it has taken orders from developers, research institutions and enterprise customers worldwide since launch. LimX Luna, a full-size interactive humanoid, was introduced in May 2026 (Source: limxdynamics.com). The company has also unveiled the CL-3, a full-size humanoid with 31 degrees of freedom, and lists LimX Oli and the LimX COSA system in its portfolio.

Funding

LimX announced a financing round of nearly $200 million on July 14, 2026, which its own release describes as a pre-IPO round backed by investors from China, Europe, the Middle East and North America. The company said proceeds would advance the integration of high-level cognition with whole-body control, accelerate deployment of "thousands of fully autonomous humanoid robots," and expand its global presence (Source: limxdynamics.com).

Accounts of the same round differ in how they label and attribute it, and are recorded here rather than reconciled. The Robot Report describes a $200 million Series B joined by Stone Venture, JD, Oriental Fortune Capital, CoStone Capital, Shangqi Capital (backed by SAIC Motor), NIO Capital and Future Capital, and states the company had previously raised about $72 million (Source: therobotreport.com). The Information reported the round at a 15 billion yuan (about $2.2 billion) valuation and named IDG Capital, Apple supplier Lens Technology and Abu Dhabi–based Stone Venture as leads (Source: theinformation.com). Stone Venture appears in both investor lists and the amount matches, so these are most likely one round described under different labels; no source reviewed here states a valuation other than The Information's.

Position in the sector

The round places LimX among the mid-tier of humanoid financings of the period, below Figure AI's $1 billion Series C and alongside Galaxy Bot ($453 million), Apptronik ($403 million), Agility Robotics ($400 million) and Leju Robotics ($200 million) (Source: therobotreport.com). Its investor base spans Chinese strategic capital — JD, and vehicle-linked funds tied to SAIC Motor and NIO — and Gulf and other international money, a pattern that bears on export-control questions about capital and supply-chain routes into Chinese robotics.
