Pim de Witte

Pim de Witte is the co-founder and chief executive of General Intuition, a US World-Model AI startup he founded in 2025 with Kent Rollins. He previously built and led the gaming-clip platform Medal.tv, the consumer product that supplied the large corpus of gameplay recordings underlying General Intuition's training approach. He is based in the United States.

General Intuition and the action-conditioned approach

De Witte's central thesis is that gameplay video, paired with the player inputs that produced it, is an unusually rich source of supervision for training World Models. General Intuition trains on observation-action-observation tuples scraped from gaming clips, an "action-conditioned" approach in which the model learns not just what scenes look like but how they respond to actions.
