Financial performance and market reaction

OpenAI contract

CoreWeave signed an $11.9 billion contract with OpenAI ahead of its IPO (Reuters). Senator Elizabeth Warren's January 2026 letter describes the arrangement as part of OpenAI "leveraging other people's balance sheets," with CoreWeave taking on debt to build capacity for OpenAI usage; the letter explicitly names CoreWeave as a partner absorbing debt OpenAI generated through cross-purchase commitments (Sen.
